Address Book — Save a "My Account" Address

Your own addresses. Hardware wallets, other Chimera wallets, exchange deposits

  • Open your Chimera App.

  • A new window will open.

  • On the bottom navigation bar, tap "Settings".

  • In the "Account" section, tap "Address book".

  • A new window will open with two tabs: "My Accounts" and "Contacts".

  • Tap the "My Accounts" tab.

  • Tap "ADD NEW ACCOUNT" at the bottom, or the "+" icon in the top-right corner.

  • A new window ("New Address") will open.

  • Under Address Type, select:

    • "Ark Address" — for ARK network addresses.

    • "Bitcoin Address" — for Bitcoin mainnet addresses.

  • Under Save As, select "My Account".

  • In the Label (optional) field, name the address so you'll recognize it later (e.g. "Main wallet", "Ledger cold storage").

  • In the Address field, paste from clipboard, tap the scan icon to scan a QR code, or tap the paste icon.

  • Tap "ADD ACCOUNT".

  • Your new entry appears under "My Accounts" and becomes a quick-select option in the SEND flow.

IMPORTANT Never type an address by hand. Copy/paste or scan. Wrong character = funds gone, no recovery.

IMPORTANT The Address Type must match the address format. Saving a Bitcoin mainnet address as "Ark Address" (or vice versa) will break transactions and burn funds.
