KYC — Verification

KYC is not the default. It kicks in when your activity crosses the line.

  • Open your Chimera App.

  • A new window will open.

  • On the bottom navigation bar, tap "Settings".

  • In the "Account" section, tap "KYC - verification".

  • A new window will open.

  • Start your KYC verification on IDflow and follow the flow step by step.

  • On the "Select Country" screen, tap the "Select" dropdown and start typing your country of residence.

  • Select your country from the list.

  • Tap "CONTINUE".

  • The verification flow will load. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by IDflow.

  • Submit your personal or company details, upload your ID document, and complete the liveness check.

  • Your KYC status will be confirmed inside the app once approved.

Details required for KYC registration

If you are an individual, you will be asked to provide:

  • First Name

  • Surname

  • Date of Birth

  • Citizenship(s)

  • Residence Address

  • Identity Document (document type, number, date of issue, expiration date, issuing country)

  • Phone Number

  • Email

If you are a representative of a company, you will be asked to provide:

  • Company Name

  • Legal Form

  • Company Code (or Registration Number)

  • Registered Office Address

  • Business Address

  • Phone Number

  • Email

Representative of the Legal Entity:

  • Representative's Name and Surname

  • Representative's Date of Birth

  • Representative's Citizenship

  • Manager's Name and Surname (if different from representative)

  • Manager's Date of Birth (if different from representative)

  • Manager's Citizenship (if different from representative)

IMPORTANT KYC kicks in above 1000 CHF per month of cumulative activity. Under that threshold, no KYC is required. Over it, mandatory.

IMPORTANT Documents must be valid, readable, and match the details you submit. Mismatches get rejected.

IMPORTANT KYC is processed by third-parties, please check the individual policies of providers.
