Convert EUR to Bitcoin by transferring from your own bank account. The Bitcoin lands in your Chimera Wallet once the transfer clears.
Open your Chimera App.
A new window will open.
On the Home page, tap the "RECEIVE" button.
A new window will open.
Select "Bitcoin" from the asset list.
On the network screen, select "Bank Transfer" as the network.
In the "Currency" field, select "Euro (EUR)".
Tap "CONTINUE".
A new window ("Bank Deposit") will open displaying the SEPA deposit details:
Reference Code (Required) — a unique code (e.g. t9a3liuk8q) that MUST be included in the bank transfer description.
IBAN — e.g. LT63 3910 0200 0000 2018
BIC / SWIFT Code — e.g. IBIULT21XXX
Beneficiary — Outlogic SAGL
Bank Name — IBS Lithuania, UAB
Tap the copy icon next to each field to copy the details and paste them into your bank's transfer form.
Execute the bank transfer from your bank account, making sure to include the Reference Code in the payment description.
Once the transfer is completed, tap "I'VE MADE THE TRANSFER" in the Chimera app.
You can monitor the status of your deposit at any time by tapping "VIEW ORDER STATUS".
The transfer time might vary depending on the bank, from instant to 48 hours.
IMPORTANT You MUST include the Reference Code in your bank transfer description. Transfers received without the correct Reference Code cannot be processed correctly and may be delayed or returned.
IMPORTANT The fees for bank receives are 0.6% of the received amount if over 1,000.00 CHF, and 1% of the received amount if under 1,000.00 CHF. Your bank might charge additional fees that Chimera is not aware of.
IMPORTANT The beneficiary of the transfer must be exactly "Outlogic SAGL". Do NOT modify the beneficiary field.
IMPORTANT DO NOT type IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, or Reference Code manually. Always copy/paste to avoid errors that may result in failed or misrouted transfers.
IMPORTANT SEPA processing times range from instant to 48 hours depending on your bank. Wait the full 48 hours before contacting support about a pending transfer. Your bank may charge fees on their end — those are beyond Chimera's visibility and control.
